Lichen and moss sample prep for elemental analysis
Trimming and cleaning field samples of lichens a bryophytes for elemental analysis, including trace metals. Processing is performed under a laminar flow hood with HEPA filtration by a trained, experienced technician. Because size, quality, and ease of processing of samples varies greatly, fees are based on an hourly rate. Gloves, clean bags for processed samples, and other supplies are included. Send dry or frozen samples, typically 5-10 grams. Specify number of grams dry weight of processed, cleaned sample to be prepared. Cleaned samples to be placed in Kapak/Silverpak bags supplied by us or other containers supplied by you. Shipping of samples to us and from us to analytical lab at your expense and with your choice of shipping method and your choice of analytical lab.
